Irizar receives the “Spanish Investment in the UK” prize at the first UK-Spain Business Awards
The British Embassy, the British Chamber of Commerce and Banco Santander have celebrated the strong trade relations between Spain and the United Kingdom at a ceremony presided by the British ambassador.
The UK-Spain Business Awards have singled out companies that, through their business activity, have encouraged commercial development between the two countries. A total of fifteen awards were given across eight categories. Irizar was chosen for the “Spanish Investment in the UK” category, receiving recognition for its investment in the British market.
The prize-giving took place at the La Bolsa Palace in Madrid and the awards were handed out by the British Ambassador to Spain and the United Kingdom’s High Representative for Trade in Europe. In addition to Irizar, the other companies that were recognised for their efforts to strengthen trade between the two countries included the Sagardi Group and Cosentino, among others.
